About Me

I’m Garnett James, a Game Design student from New York currently based in the Bay Area. I study at Academy of Art University and focus on level design, gameplay systems, and player-centered interactive experiences.

My design process centers on player flow, spatial storytelling, readability, and iteration. I enjoy building levels and prototypes that guide players through clear goals, meaningful choices, and memorable spaces. Using Unity, Unreal Engine, and Adobe Creative Suite, I create projects that combine technical implementation with strong design intention.

My goal is to work in the game industry as a level designer, contributing to immersive worlds that encourage curiosity, challenge, and fun.
